Those are off the top of my head in 1 minute. Its a shame we have not performed like the other unions in the industry. Imagine how much more we could have!!!!
He was probably referring to progression. ... and the benefits you correctly outline will be nice when we make it back to the relative position we were in circa 2008. Some people have been stagnant since 2000. That is a long time.

That's consistent with what I have heard too: around 100 total 757s staying for the long term. Sounds like we might be keeping 60 or so plain domestic, another 30 or so ETOPS variants, and of course the 16 757-300s.

I also heard there's a possibility of going up to 200 seats on the plain domestic variant to improve the economics against the 321s & 739s, which will be 180 seats.

What? The 321 isn't even here and it already has bad economics? There is a roofie bar at an insane asylum where the Douglas engineers hang out. I'm afraid to go in there because they hate pilots and throw poop, but do we need them to fix the 321's? They will suggest a tail fuel tank and reducing the size of the elevator ... That's how they fix things.

No, but the 321 wing is the same as the 320. AA will probably do very well with the 321 because they are using them on the transcon markets with 110 seats or so.

Sorry.

I was talking about increasing the capacity of the 757-200 to 200 seats, improving its economics against the 739/321, which has better economics.

Sailing,

Still not enough. Please do not compare yourself/ourself to "other" unions. We still "lag" and are paid peanuts for what we do and are asked to do.

Dont get me wrong, people are still starving in the world, and I am truly blessed to be employed by a great airline. But for what we have lost and what we have been through, I sincerely believe we are underpaid, overworked and being played by our management team.

I am not impressed with our new contract or our improvements since 2008. I know we could have done much better. Nothing personal just an observation from a 38%er.

Fraternally,

TEN
