That too. You can rarely if ever fool the market long term with little tricks like this. There really needs to be a major investor paradigm shift that results from all of this, and I just don't see the upside from things like this having all that much potential, especially when they are guaranteed to cost us more than they save us (winglets, hiring, etc).

How about "B-Dog?" After all...it's officially a "Boeing Mad Dog Derivative."

Are you junior Delta pilots seriously beotching/venting about life for a 2008 hire to now? You do realize the life of a RJ FO that was DOH in 2008, is, surprise! Still a RJ FO. There are thousands of pilots with applications at Delta that would love to be in your shoes.

Just went to "The Left Seat" 2 weeks ago. Good stuff, really enjoyed it. Talked to 767/757 fleet guys and they said that we are going down to 60 757's soon!!!!! I'm assuming he meant -200's and not including the -ER's from TWA. VERY dissapointed to hear that. To be replaced by an underpowered 737. Our dear 757's are twice the jet a 73 is!!!!!

OK that's not bad.

I think the trannys called it the "electric-9" or something like that.

Is it too un-PC to call it "girl pig" or piglet? You know, a pig with lipstick. Nevermind, if you have to explain it then it isn't funny.

Lapdog? Ankle Biter? The "HaHa you thought you were getting the summer off" jet? Something about the hiring in 2012 jet? What? Too complicated/too soon?

Add a little German engineering prestige to the livery.

And Delta used to have the old "Dependable Engines" logo on most of our nacelles.
I liked those stickers. Anybody know why we don't do that anymore?

Pratts are great on the 330

Are the new little tiny cups of coffee for the person that carries the little tiny luggage on board via the safety vid?

Not much has changed here since 2008. Pay is only up 30 percent. Reserve pay is up another 8. MD88 pay bumped a little extra. Overtime pay is up to 2x from 1.5x and the qualifiers lowered to get it. Training recovery has been eliminated for FO's. Retirement pay up from 12 to 14 percent and in 7 months goes to 15. Lump sum stock bonus into each pilots retirement hired prior to 08. Mandatory block hours shift from DCI to the mainline starts in the fall. No furloughs even with a pilot surplus. Improved furlough protections.
Those are off the top of my head in 1 minute. Its a shame we have not performed like the other unions in the industry. Imagine how much more we could have!!!!
