I agree. I love my family, but if the company is ok with understaffed operation (it seems that's the goal) and me being gone all the time I want a 70% [not self funded] pay increase, no typo, to be able to retire at 50.

What kind of merger protections did they get? Skywest has MRJ's on order which violate our current scope.
IMHO Alaska is a good fit, but not a competitive solution. Flat earth no growth zero sum thinking if we do it.

According to the Feds, if you taxi out and get an hour in the deice pad, and it puts you over, back to the gate you go.
Divert someplace, and if it puts you over, you spend the night.
Expect to see considerable buffers.
Nu
This isn't the panacea for the airlines that it appears to be. "Legal to start, legal to finish" goes away with 117.

If true at all (and the stock manipulations suggest it might be) then what Lee Moak authorized in Alaska's section 1 is of critical importance to Delta pilots.

AS is a good route map fit, but most of that is self induced. For either pilot groups there would be no net "growth" and the network would grow mostly on "connection" dots on the map anyway although there are some exceptions.
Still though, as long as we don't inherit their scope albatross, it would be better long term than having a large 737 DCI operator. Integrate at narrow body percentiles and fence existing base/equip for a few years if necessary and get all the flying under one list.

Am I doing this right? I'm scheduled for CQ training next month and want to square away my hotel arrangements. So I follow the VRU phone menu and get to the training / hotel for training option. I left a message a few hours ago. Tried calling them again and got the answering machine again. Is there another route I should be taking? I notice next month's schedule has a hotel name down (no location) and some digits next to it 404 followed by a combination of dashes and numbers that are a couple short of a valid phone number.
