Not exactly true under the new contract. If you are even one minute under your guarantee, you can still be assinged anything that does not take you past ALV+15, no yellow slip required.

Would you mind giving a brief description of what WW actually does? I was looking at the Flightline website, but there is no description of the product.
Thanks,
dl

Customer service isn't great since Sabre acquired, I agree. The rest of what you wrote is not really accurate.
WW is updated when needed...though it can/does lag a few days for updates... oh well.
No one has ever shown me how to use the product... pretty easy to figure out actually. But then, no one has shown me how to use the contract to maximize pay/time off either... just read it and figured it out myself... something I encourage every one to do... though it is much more difficult to understand than WW.
Obtw, I've already made at least an additional 20k this year using WW & the contract. Is WW perfect? Not even close. But, not bad for a $10/mo tax deductible investment. As long as I get this kind of ROI, I'll put up with Sabre.
If it doesn't work for you that's fine... just thought others might be interested.
P.s. Don't think WW will work if one is an i-something guy.

+1 wondering the same thing myself. Automatic notification when a new trip pops into open time? Wishful thinking....

To keep it simple, in a month where you don't have anything to reduce your guarantee, you will be full at the published RSV guarantee for your category. Let's say your category's RSV guarantee is 72 hours, then AFTER your credit for the month meets or exceeds 72 hours, you are full and won't be assigned flying without a YS. If you are at or below 71:59 and a trip pops up, you can be assigned the trip as long as it keeps you below ALV+15, which in this case would be 89 hours (assuming the ALV is 74, or guarantee + 2 hours).
This differs from the past where they could not assign you a trip that exceeded ALV unless you YS.
In many cases the new contract does allow them greater access to a reserve, but let's say for example you have a week of vacation in the same month from above. Now your personal guarantee is 49:15 (72 hours minus 22:45 of vacation) and you will be considered full once you reach that point, whereas in the past they could have still assigned you flying up to the ALV of 74 hours, essentially leaving you open for abuse in a month where you had some sort of VTS offset.
While certainly not perfect or ideal, I don't think it's going to be as bad as some guys are predicting. There will certainly be a few guys going over ALV where they wouldn't have in the past, but we will not be seeing many RSV's flying into the high 90's - it's just too difficult to get there on a regular basis.
the ATL airport is about to have a bad bad day.
As a side note, if you set it to notify you of all new trips then you will get a lot of text messages when they release the schedules and update open time for the next month.
