I think the issues are two-fold on the E-Jet. One, a Boeing, Doug, or Airbus it is not. Overall it is just not engineered as robustly as the Bus is, and that has become evident in the failure modes we see as the fleet matures. I believe cargo is the other biggie. I've flown the jet from JFK-SDQ and POP comfortably at near-max gross with full Pax, all their bags, and plenty of gas, but the pits were bulked-out and near weight limitations as well. Several routes that started on the E-Jet here or where we experimented with it due to passenger loading have transitioned to Fifi for cargo revenues.

As to the pay we recently received an email promising a timeline for it to be enacted. Lots of foot-dragging from management, but the rates are allegedly going to be paid in October. If paid as promised they will be quite competitive... approx 72/hr base in the right seat 3rd year, 117/hr left seat. Lots of promises that haven't been enacted upon. We'll see...

As long as you like Tuesday through Thursday off. The only hope of ever getting a weekend off is a greenslip during the week forcing a payback day on a Saturday.

PBS allows the senior reserves to hold weekends off, which is a good deal.

TC, what's up with the picture tease? You can't ask for picture posting directions and not put out.

As to posting pictures it's very simple, just go find Bars previous posting a few pages back and then hit quote, delete his text, add your text and post and repeat.

Quick question....I forgot to put in a new bid for this AE because I figured my preferences from the last displacement were still in there (that and because I got a message on icrew telling me I had not changed them in like 6 months or something)
What I am asking is, my AE/MD/VD remained as is since I had not changed them since the last displacement correct?

As long as you were not awarded/displaced since you last entered your AE, VD, and MD preferences, they should remain in the system indefinitely. But checking them before a bid/displacement is always a smart thing to do!

My apologies.... please don't get yourself worked up, because I could never compete with Bars new woman.

Still letting my bid results sink in....... It's that thing about, "be ready to fly what you ask for"..... Looks like I'm going to be an International Airline pilot...... Here I come JFK. Disclaimer: I may not have my glass is half full, John Lennon's rose colored glasses attitude in 6 months. If anyone notices significant changes, please call me on it..... Holy Smokes!!!!
Alway wanted to see Paris, Athens, Rome.... Oh, and AFRICA too.
