That's incredible. I've never spent that much on a meal...in my life. Not on an anniversary, not on Valentines, and not the night we celebrated getting hired at Delta. What were the ALPA guys celebrating, the lack of backward movement on the latest bid?

If that beer is natural lite... total bill for the round shown is $9.

Please drink like flight instructors if drinking on union dues.

Sorry, my post was tongue in cheek.

That was pretty good, the Albrecht run in the first half and that Siva kid in the second half, great game!

A mere 50 cents per credit hour and you too can help fight the forces that are attempting to destroy YOUR career every day!

Alpa > ALPA PAC

It stinks that this is the way it works, but wishing it wasn't like this won't change reality.
I gave a $1 this year to get the percentage numbers up. Next year I'm giving 3% more.

You think your union isn't spending money on lobbying and politics??!!! Hey, unions are people too! Political spending by unions. Some want to argue ALPA's a business and has the equivalent of a CEO. Well, if unions can spend its people's money on lobbying then the same would seem to hold true for the people who make up a corporation. But back to the main point--this argument that unions aren't spending money on lobbying and politics? Hogwash.

That would definitely help.
