It's actually easier to add up the times for a long international flight, no cockpit explosion while unfolding and refolding the paper..........oh wait, sorry my captain I forgot you don't add up no stinking times

PS Seriously, it dawned on me what ya ment by the "Dead Sea Scrolls". They are individual sheets of paper you can staple (or not). I thought the table of contents was a nice touch.

Default DAL Non-Rev HKs

Can anyone tell me who the HKs are on the non-rev list and why so many of them pop up in the last 24 hours?

If you click on "HK" it says something like a confirmed revenue passenger for whom no seat is assigned. Are these just folks who bought a ticket and never selected or were not allowed to select a seat?

Seems like they pop up quite a bit at the last minute. Does DAL sell last minute seats on priceline?

I believe they are re-booked misconnects.

I think they're revenue standbys. They are standbys for a variety of reasons. They missed an earlier connection, they got to the airport late and had to roll to the next flight (frequent with early AM departures), they moved up to an earlier flight by paying a change fee, etc. Very common with biz pax taking an earlier flight.

They are rev pax who bought a ticket but were not allowed to reserve a seat before checking in. DAL holds back preferred coach seats (exit rows, economy comfort...) until the last minute. So, people can buy cheap tix for coach in advance, but DAL won't let them tie up a "premium seat" until they show up. Only a small percent of HKs are last minute walk ups.

Just for international though, right?

Domestic 14/22 would be a massive hit to safety with 22 hour duty days (today) being redefined full/partial rest/non duty.

What is the tensile strength of that T-Shirt? I think it is 150% over the limit.

I would agree with that, however do not understand as to why the HKs do not show up until the night before or a lot of the time on the day of the flight.
