What route do you fly? Do you pretend that you're flying the plane when you're sitting back here? Don't they need you up front? Do you ever get scared up there? So tell me about the electronics thing... do they make us turn them off just to annoy us? You ever see a UFO? Are you the pilot or the copilot? Whats your least favorite airport to fly in to? So what branch of the military were you.... you weren't??? Tell me about that landing, was that a good one or a bad one? I usually fly American, but you guys were cheaper for this flight.

.... I need to get off reserve... I've been deadheading way too much.

Already there! There's a little RJ island (B gates I believe) on the north east side of the airport.

Default Payload Optimized :(

What is the deal with the 319? I was just payload optimized off a flight from PHL to SLC. Well actually, I was not payload optimized as I had a JS reservation, but my daughter who was non-reving got bumped after being boarded and sitting in the cabin. She had to do the walk of shame off the aircraft. So I was de-facto optimized.

I thought the whole reason we put the Bus in SLC was because it could hit both coasts from there. The Capt was great and tried to work it out with dispatch but could not do it.

PHL, clear day, 35F, no MELs and the 319 could not make it to SLC. Must have been very, very, strong HWs. Now I know why the Jetblue guys keep dropping into SLC on the way to the West Coast a few years ago.

Oh well - part of the excitement of non-reving these days.

I've never seen an A319 optimized... and I've only seen full tanks on a 320 (same wing, same fuel capacity), and we weren't optimized then despite having a full load.

The jetblue guys only fly 320s... they have shorter range than the 319.

Were you trying for the 1015am flight today? You could have logged into DL net and checked the payload and such... that could answer your question as to why.

Yep - that was the flight. I have no idea how to check that. Did I miss another memo?

Nah, you can just go and pull up the release on icrew and take a look at the loading.

We had to defuel 12,000 lbs recently when they changed us to a plane that had been fueled to GDL.... we were going to CLT. That took a while...

I think 80 meant that you can pull up the flight plan and look at the cargo, etc.
