I think I might go 22 @1659. There are A LOT of displacements on this one.
The 717 is the most loved a/c in the fleet apparently. 216 senior to 116## want B and 987 want A with 360 as a #1 choice for that 4th stripe.
In fact there are over 300 more pilots with a 717A in than there are 777A. Realist I guess

You'd think they would be running test simulations all week, especially on Friday. I think they have a good idea of the number of disacements. But now I'm agreeing with the 48 hour at least so everyone can get an input on training events, blah , blah, blah.

Historically, they will do everything they can to prevent major cascades from the displacements (but you don't put any credence into my calling them out on saying they will put out bids more frequently while the next bid is planned to be farther spaced out....

What that will be... talk about a total crapshoot. I'm less than impressed with the prospects so far... perhaps maybe a bit of restoration for some from 5 years ago and more lower paying positions for others.

That's the way I read it.

), so they will run this thing to minimize training.

It's obvious the company is desperate for AE/VD bids to the 717. Personally, I'm hoping they pay for delaying hiring by being unable to minimize displacements. I'm glad someone can see the good intention behind my ill will.

I changed my mind about the 717B. I'll let the company MD me to it so I won't incur the training freeze. I'll get it anyway based on the process as has been discussed here.
