The first buses did have IFE in them. NWA paid to have it removed.

I hate to be a pessimist here but I do find this "leaked" information a bit fishy considering we are trying to survive another AE. The carnage on this AE has a bunch of people really flailing...again...

I heard quite a bit of it before the AE was out.

Awww you're right. There had been a number of good news rumors floating around. Now that SD and Jim Graham have said them they must be serious.

I am a 2010 new hire but the fNWA guys I fly with have told me it was a cost, weight, fuel savings at the time.

That system was installed after delivery by an outside vendor...it never worked right and every time you came to a MX station, they had vendors there to try and fix it. Crappy system. What I don't understand is why they don't install one now?
