From a system perspective, we currently have a surplus of pilots. This bid will reallocate staffing by moving pilots to where we need them - 717, 73N and categories we feel are at risk for a high level of pilot attrition over the next two years. While this bid has a significant number of displacements in certain categories, we believe this will most likely be the last bid with large displacement-based staffing moves.
This bid has a net gain of 83 Captains and a net vacancy posting of 57. However, we do not plan on hiring to fill those positions.

Don't know how fast they'll take those 20 FOs off the maddog in ATL, but it could possibly mean some rolling thunder by August.
