Default Iberian Air Line Perks

Hmmmm - No wonder these guys were not included in the DALPA salary survey comparisons.

Must be nice - but is it sustainable?

Attached the wall bracket, took a while but I was just being anal about measurements for once in my life. I had already tested the microwave so now I just picked it up, walked it over, kid threw up in his sleep. Wife takes care of that, then he threw up on her. So I help. Pick microwave back up later, put it on the bracket, awesome, holding, feed power cord through, start screwing in the top screws and... one bracket fell off one of the screws and fell inside the microwave. Dead in the water. Take it back apart and drive it back tomorrow. @#%@#%@!.

Hopefully this is also the beginning of the end of the Alaska codeshare. I think Marketing and network finally woke up to the reality that they are NOT our little regional feed and through the "enhanced" agreements with American and Emerites...that they are a competitor and should be treated as such. My prediction: when we start taking deliveries of the 717's and 900's next fall/winter, we won't be parking the older 320's and 757's as scheduled....but that we will continue to replace Alaska capacity on the West Coast, ultimately ending the codeshare completely by this time next year.

So are these 17 routes officially replacing current ALK feed, or are these new routes altogether?

I got the impression that the majority, if not all, of the new feed would be serviced by mainline aircraft.

Delta has been stating since well before Alaska's latest partnerships that Lax would be the next expansion area. Their comments on a lax expansion were ridiculed here on the forum over a year ago. Replacing Alaska in Sea is simply not in the cards unless we can acquire 10 to 20 new gates and are willing to engage in a long term money losing bloodbath.
