I look at airline route.net. Do a Google search and select Skyteam. They even seem to come out with route changes before DAL announces it.

The 7ER category is overstaffed as it is. In fact, on this AE that's supposed to be out soon I expect a fair number of displacements, especially out of NYC. NYC 7ER has lost I don't know how many routes in the last 3 years - probably 65% of their international flying has been cut or switched to other airplanes.

At a pilot meeting, a question was asked if these cuts were temporary or more permanent. The answer was it was probably going to be more permanent - Delta makes more money by running people through the European Skyteam hubs than flying directly.

So, replacing a few routes isn't going to trigger any hiring.

"Delta is the fastest growing international carrier". Really? Faster than Emirates? Maybe he means in the US.

Delta is now ranked from Neutral to Outperform. RA's vision of "investment-grade" stock may be coming to fruition.

Why would anybody leave the queen of the fleet for the grandmother of the fleet ?

Its also included in SD's notes and the company updates you can subscribe to on Deltanet. Plus, they talked about it in the west coast lounge visits last week.

Regarding the lounge visits--has there been any mention of Delta IT developing a product to replace the useful programs they shat on? (iCrew Mobile, etc.)

Off subject sort of, but on my last layover, someone mentioned that the Trainer Refiery Fuel Guru, you know, the guy who just suddenly left, just a few weeks ago, was indicted for insider trading.

Anyone see anything in the WSJ or elsewhere about this?

I was wondering why he up and left so quickly.

They should hurry up and release it so I can prep for my next displacement.
