Good for you (not kidding).

I can not hold the category I was in pre-merger at all

Every time I forecast a displacement perfecta it turns out to be incorrect. Hope that continues. We really need for people who have been property for 6+ years to not be the "new hires."

So would DL then be forced to take 20 CPZ + 9 Mesaba + X Pinnacle pilots in addition? IOW, would DL be forced to take 150ish? Or reduce the furlough bypasses offered recall? Or could the +100 furlough bypassers coming back demand additonal classes? If so, would that trigger more mandatory flows? I can't see DL being happy about that. If its even the slightest possibility, I'd expect them to put off hiring til the bitter end when it spools up permantly and that potentially volitile issue resolved itself.

Way above my paygrade. My guess is DAL is far less concerned about the flows than you. Maybe ACL or someone with better info than me will weigh in.

BTW, I know your question wasn't for me specifically, but more to get folks to think about the process.

I don't know, I'd say they've thought about it. Especially WRT the rumors of small amounts of hiring. What if they wanted to bring 200 furloughs back in 10 classes of 20 (realistic). Would that "force" them to run double that for the flows? Like I said, if they were hiring 50 a month forever, it would resolve itself. But until that day comes, quickly pushing a couple hundred through while we have a couple hundred bypasers could get very interesting.

Indeed.

Did you see that over 37 years he has never called in sick or missed a day of work? Incredible.
