Just trying to help.
Well, it'd been more fun to say it was a moo point.

The 50 seater does have a higher CASM, but it makes money on certain routes. So while they're despised by many, they will still be used.

I need to look at Delta's most recent 10K. I know Skywest had some of their CRJ200s flying for Delta though 2020. It dropped off dramatically at some pint earlier though. 2017 maybe?

Why does it pay more?

Ya'll getting tired of watching (bigger)high paying airplanes go away and (smaller) lower ones coming on board yet?

I hope we pay the 777/747 $400/hour. Remember, there are 500 starving captains out there that deserve that pay, because we all know how much harder it is to fly a big airplane than it is to fly a small one.

Anyone know how to set up an excel spreadsheet to show me how much I might have in my 401K after 25/30 years at Delta assuming 3% raises after 2015 and making maybe 3% on the capital in the 401K?

Check out google docs - free, easy, and cloudy(you can pull it up anywhere). They have some handy formula tools as well to help you with the math.

IF the DC-9 goes away can we get some of these? Seems better than the 717 even.

Looks nice, but slow. A cruise speed of M .74? Yuck.
