Truth!

Love the fifi drawing... I can almost see myself up front sipping some fruity drink with my legs crossed and pinky in the air.

This is the power of options. You can make a trade on an assumption that turns out incorrect and still get out for basically a scratch.

Reminds me of 2010. I flew my keister off on reserve, & almost every CA I flew with was on a GS. I kept flying with one CA who GSd all month long.

Your talking about a fleet of 88 aircraft in a category that is going to turn over every FO position every 2 years. If the freeze were reduced it would turn over much faster with the retirements coming. The ER to 400 freeze being 9 months has very little impact on the company and they both use the same training program with a small added footprint for the 400. The 2 year freeze for the 717 will have a large impact in cost savings for the company and in the end its all about the money.
How about we turn the freeze on the 764 back to 24 months and see what we can get in return?

Its a win win... Win.

Great for the company to get as much money as they can.

Aren't you making some assumptions?

In this case, he got out without a scratch but got very, very lucky, imo. The stock dropped like a rock right after the open. Had he waited an hour (or the stock opened down in the 13s where it was yesterday), he would be instantly down 3 grand or 70%. No stops would have saved him from an open in the 13s. The professional money usually wins.

Yes. Remember that over major holidays the Company does NOT have to honor the APD down to 25% though. PD's always have to be over 100% coverage.

I don't understand. How did DALPA budge on this issue IRT to the 717 seat lock?
