Yep, I have friend there that were hired in that timeframe flying 777B out of IAH getting trips 20 year pilots here would dream of holding. Funny thing is a few years ago these same guys were debating coming to delta.

IDK, but I think you are wrong.

They start near 400 retirements this year and it doesn't stop.... And they have 70 more "Super Premium" wide body than we do!!! And a bunch more on order....

Maybe.... but who will be more angry with the results? CAL Capt hired in 2005 who is no longer able to hold CAPT, or a UAL 12 year FO who is put behind years of new CAL captains?

They're going through the same things we are. 757/767s being replaced by 737s. They're WB orders aren't growth either. And technically there are still 1100+ UAL guys on furlough. So it all really depends on the SLI.

Yowza
They have 2005 hires that are 756 captains. Unreal. I'm a 2000 hire and I'm a solid 40% on MD88 as FO with years more to go before I can even think about left seat. But hey, we got a bunch more displacements to look forward to.

Did this Southwest pilot really just admit to using Microsoft Flightsim '10 with three monitors? Skip to 2min50sec.

I've been at Delta for only two years now and Im in the right seat of the 757/767. Why would I leave this place? I've been sitting on my couch since Jan 1st and there is no flying for me in sight. I love this company!!

Look no further than a ATN Capt post LUV SLI.

The UAL/CAL SLI will be very interesting. On a stove pipe where everyone is in the most senior position they can hold, the zipper is very interesting. I was told they already stuck the arbitrator that presided over the DAL/NWA SLI.

One of my buds over there tells me that a DAL guy is consulting the UALALPA side too. If true, he's one of the smarter pilots around. There are no guarantees on how this will go.
