And MEX. I love it!!!

No MEX picked up today, but it's been happening quite a bit lately.

I had the former happen last night.
You can turn it off. It won't change the block out time though.

It shouldn't matter if we are sitting in a black chair for 3 hours, waiting to fly to RDU, or DHing around the system, or if you are sleeping on the way to Dubai, we should be getting paid Flight Pay when we are At WORK.

If the company would rather sit us in a black chair in ATL, than fly us, well, that's their choice, but FU, PM comes to mind.
You are right, but their counter will be "that is what the duty rig is for".

Face it, no matter in what manner it comes to us, we want more money. Attempts to reduce "more money" are offensive to all of us.

Micromanaging the operation will come back to bite them, the more rules they make, the more I will follow the rules without solving problems. If those rules end up hosing the operation because they don't want us to use our heads to "make it work" I don't care, it has become the Company's problem not mine. They pay us a shotload of money to make good decisions, if they take away the asset of the Delta Pilots using good judgement on the line, the operation will suffer.

Why not just not ask for a raise next contract, and instead just ask for pay from Sign in till end of the last flight plus 45 minutes. Any time we are ON DUTY, we are getting paid. Heck we might even be able to take a "pay rate cut" and still get out ahead.

I guess Timbo actually already suggested this, sorry.

Skeds ran pretty well when he was running if, if I remember correctly. (I was, and still am on reserve so I see how it all runs). From the sound of friends over at Pinnacle, the scheduling department is in dire need of improvement.

I'm sure he'll be back, this is probably grooming him for higher positions than just Pinnacle.

So let me get this straight, the president of an airline that now no longer exists is going to take the reigns of an airline that is just emerging from Bankruptcy? There is absolutely no one in the world better qualified than a person who already sunk one airline?
