Good idea, and Jet Blue has always been on the table. So have other things. Some are farther a long than others.

Keep reading the McPaper. When they want us to know, that is how we will find out.

Guys,
The LGA information is not so secret. Heard from a LGA gate agent about talk of the terminal swap/purchase with USAIR. He also mentioned lifting the 1500 NM restrictin from LGA - I didn't even know that such a restriction exisited.

Scoop - Always the last to know.

Just because they are talking about it does not mean that those with a NDA can. Hence why at the DTW base visit they talked around the subject.

I know that you have said "for F to happen, A-E need to happen" but what is your BEST guesstimate for some, any or all of these things to come to public light??? Days, weeks, months, years, decades??

A few weeks to a month or two for one. Others could be a few years.

ACL,
Make sense and I concur - and who knows, maybe the gate agent heard the rumor from a pilot who read about it here. If, and when it happens - it happens.

And now for something completely different: Does the international (26") Luggage Works rollaboard fit beneath the Jumpseat on the 737 NG? What if any arrangement do the 737NG crews have with the "Flight Leaders" to store their bags?

OBTW - Thats another thing for the FNW guys, we call our head flight attendants "Flight Leaders." I guess "Group Commander" wasn't snazzy enough. On the other hand they seem to change their title about every other year so maybe Group/Wing Commander will be next.

Scoop

OBL/ "A" Line. They answer to all of them.

From what I have heard the FO gets to put his bag in the overhead on the 73N. It reminds me of the commuters, but that is what my buddies are telling me.

I think that the LGA deal was talked about up there about two months ago. The LCC CPO called over to our CPO asking all sorts of questions about the MAT. Needless to say our guys were clueless at that time.

Scoop, that bag will fit under faux jumpseat in the -800 (just to the left of the actual jumpseat), but the Captain's bag was there on every trip I ever flew.
My bag always went in the FA's closet - never seemed to be much of a problem as long as I asked nicely

Do any of our 73Ns have the 2nd pilot jumpseat?

Not that I am aware of - thank goodness. The in-door jumpseat is enough like a torture device as it is.
