Did you ever get your X day trades figured out?

Yep. I did it a day at a time and it worked. Not quite sure why, but it went through. Thanks Johnso!

You'd have to post the rotation for us to know for sure but there are two likely explanations:

1) Reserve pilots don't get a rotation guarantee. Only regular pilots. Section 4F1.
"Original trip credit" is irrelevant for reserves.

2) Reserves are not eligible for DPA (duty period average). Section 12H.
Reserve DPA gets calculated at the end of the month and only helps you if you break the guarantee. Section 12J.

I'm on reserve as well. I don't get a guaranteed trip credit, I get what we actually fly. If I was a line holder I'd be calling scheduling to get it fixed.

Reserve guys do not get the original rotation guarantee.

I've never tried a block of days, so I'm only familiar with how to do single days. Glad you got it to work.

Speaking of X days. I was awarded my anniversary off (and the days on either side just in case) during the PCS run. Now they show up as * days and all my X days are at the end of the month after the reserve days are done.

Big deal? Should I call and who do I call.

Or do I really care since every day there are 4 to 6 reserves required and 35ish available?

Isn't secondary vacation bidding closed? I was talking to my wife and because the kids are not in school I'm able to bid weird periods like in May. I decided to change to the next week and I went to see if it would take it and it did.

? Maybe it didn't take it, doesn't matter, I'll swap it later but oddly enough it took it.

And anyone else shocked about the Pats? I thought they were a done deal. I mean, Flacco?

Your wife called scheduling and said no matter what, you cannot take roll are anniversary days away . And so you now have golden days over your anniversary.

Since you're on the 330, enjoy your month off. Totally unlike the MD-88 and soon the 717, sitting reserve on those buckets...
