Who's telling you what you have to bid? Your wife?

Just wait and see, I guess.
Would you prefer the time disappear altogether? Plus, we already know that 737-900ERs will take some 757/767 flying. Therefore not 100% of the block hours will be transferred to ATL 7ER. Which we already knew.

They were supposed to leave the fleet at the end of 2012. I haven't seen anything one way or the other.

I don't know why would you ask this? Especially as a mod, who is supposed to keep the forum constructive? What is the point?
Of course not.

I just refuse to give in to Stockholm syndrome and like analyzing numbers, that's all.
Not all flying will be moved.

That's a good point. If you add up recent announcements, they're neutral or better for the left seat. If you're an ER FO, you're still looking forward to improvements. The memo alludes to surpluses on NB CA positions, that they don't expect to create displacements.

They may also reduce backfilling, however.

One big factor is the number of backfills from the MRA's. I think they previously replaced only a few, and said they were just "starting the process", but limited by training slots. I had expected the process to continue. Was I misunderstanding something?

johnso29 has never let his duties as a mod interfere with his compulsive need to refute anything that portrays Delta and/or DALPA in a less-than-pristine manner.

It's an honest question. You're taking a pessimistic view, & I'm pointing it out. Of course not all flying will be moved, and no one said it would. The fact that the company is moving ATL 767 flying to ATL 7ER is a good thing.

As a mod, I am not precluded from discussion. As long as I don't violate the TOS, I am free to participate.

And you've never provided one constructive post. Not one. You constantly spew negativity. You portray a miserable person. BTW, no one forces you to come on this forum. If you don't like my moderating, then PM HSLD about it. I think he'll disagree with you though. It won't be hard to after looking at your post history.

Sink, I have been concerned as to what was going to happen with the 767 category in ATL. It's good to see that most of the flying was going over to the ER. I honestly can't see us not hiring before long with the large number of aircraft coming on property. My biggest concern is that management is way too focused on #'s while United jumps into our former markets. They are now year-round in IST with a 777. They also have year-round sevice to EDI, with 2 flights in the summer. Same for SNN. For the first time I am beginning to doubt RA and the rest ofsenior management, as they seem to be obsessed with the 10% margin while we shrink capacity across the Atlantic. We have pulled out of way too many markets in Europe.
