Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Now that I've found a place to live, I can bid the 737 in Detroit.
- Shelter - check
- Nice deck - check
- No gutters to clean - check
- Exercise Equipment / GYM - check
- Food - check
- Washer Dryer - check
- Spare Car - check
- Refrigerator - check
- Not really a camper so Delta's going to have a hard time kicking me out of the lot - check
- Able to be relocated for less money than the relocation package provides - check
- Mobile to base to base with constant displacements - check
- Ford reliability and cheap parts - check
- Racing camper on the roof? Who else has a racing camper on their roof?
- No value worth stealing, or killing me for in Detroit - check
The question remains ... truck nuts, or no truck nuts? Maybe some silver ones for the holidays?
Edit: If the phrase "truck nuts" violates the terms of service, please replace this poor phrasing with BumperBalls, CargoNads, Drive-thru Danglers, Trucksticles, HitchNuggets, Balls-on-a-truck, or, as they are known in the United Kingdom, Bumper Bollocks.
And truck nuts are obscene and just stupid.

Isn't it weird that he could have simply said "Slow, Alfa, and Sailing" will be telling us this or that, and still implied whatever he wanted to imply, right or wrong, without giving them a Childish Bird in the process?
TA&M is the team of the future. You heard it here first.. UT (The ones with the wrong shade of orange) will be a backburner team in the next few years.... well.. kind of like the team with the right shade of orange. A&M will recruit the hell out of that state and take Bama to the woodshed in years to come.
Bama 49, Irish 35...
And FU is not overrated, they just got beat by a better team. If anything, they have been a little underrated all year except for the usual ESPN lovefest. UGA will be scary good if their talent doesn't depart for the NFL. UT and AU will still suck next year. Nebraska is an overrated team. Always have been.
JMHO, YMMV

The new service will be operated by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines using 76-seat two-class CRJ900 regional jets. In addition to a first class cabin, these aircraft are equipped with onboard WiFi and Delta's snack, food for purchase and beverage offerings.
Our scope only allows 15% of all DCI flights to be over 900SM(the "NEW" UCAL TA allows 20% over 900SM....thanks for raising the bar, ugh.), and KLAX-KSEA is around 950-960. Therefore thery are eating into their allotment of "long range" RJ flights. As DCI goes from 600 down to 450 aircraft, the number of 900+ mile flights will diminish by roughly 25% also. Adding in 6 more segments when reducing the overall allowance will place a higher importance of utilizing the right airplane on routes. It is a place holder and a test to see if they can sell enough tickets to generate a revenue positive market share. if that happens and they can expand it by a few more seats and maintain the positive revenue you will see some or all of those legs up-gauged to mainline in the future.
Thanks for giving away 90 seat airframes in the first place! And being the first airline to outsource the 50 seat jets at the very beginning of the 90's!

Delta Reports Financial and Operating Performance for December 2012 - Yahoo! Finance
My favorite part(edited for brevity) is:
ASMs:
Domestic. . . . . . (1.8%)
Delta Mainline. . . 0.4%
Regional. . . . . . .(9.5%)
No matter how you cut it, DCI is shrinking.

You mean 90 seat airframes(that make as much sense as 140 seat A-319's) scope 'stolen' in bankruptcy, and nobody had 50 seat scope restrictions previously.
