Do your know Tom Wychor, have you ever even talked to him in person in your life? Did he ever pull the crap at the level of JC? He is a rep of a bankrupt group that got a pref interview and you equate that to JC because our MEC wasn't there?
You don't see the diff? Buck that comment is BS my friend. I understand your disgust with our MEC not being informed and present but you are taking it out on the wrong guy.

Put any two names in there you want. The issue remains the same. Can we let Delta management sit down and do deals with any pilot group it pleases?
If so, how about ASA sitting down to get our 737 flying? Why not?
Wychor, like all officers in ALPA, has a duty to uphold our Constitution and Bylaws. Our Admin Manual addresses concessionary bargaining, the dire situation does not change the fact that the rules apply.
Further, it would have been easy to get Delta MEC concurrence on this. There was really no reason to lock us out.

Again, has anyone called Moak? He may not answer a lowly members phone but does he not have an obligation to answer a call from one of our reps? Nuguy, ACL65?????

JA Lawson and Tom Wychor tried to do the same thing. That is, make Delta Air Lines a signatory to a regional's scope clause. Tom Wychor succeeded.

Don't get me wrong, we(DALPA) should have been there but maybe, just maybe you should be pointing the finger at OUR guy LM.
Also let it be said, again I don't like how it went but they get an interview(something DAL pilots don't control) and planes that WE just signed off on. Nothing else.

Let me get this straight, you just said that TW made Delta Air Lines sign Pinnacle's scope clause?

My guess is that Lee Moak was off the clock when this was put together. He may be a signatory to the TA, but I doubt he'll have any necessity to scrutinize it or be briefed on it, until it comes time to put pen to paper. So then he can burn another airline down, just like Duane Woerth did to CC Air.
Either way - at some point, even if its in a galaxy far far away, we'll need to hire. This 9E TA is simply a good indication or the company's upcoming staffing desperation. UA is spinning numbers of hiring 400-600 just to cover work rule changes. AAL will be hiring once all their furloughs are back. And we, will wait, until the last possible minute, and then have an entire airline to evaporate at the rate of 12 a month. Which isn't even close to what we'll need to interview a month, but it puts negative pressure on the urgency to lead the pack in terms of our PWA to attract the best, and most qualified real applicants.

And that will be the argument of all the fine folks in the upper echelon of the 4th floor who thought that this would be a good idea.

While I strongly suspect Lee Moak was involved, I don't have any proof. This is straightforward based solely on the Bridge Agreement itself. No need to muddy the issue with innuendo.

That is why ALPAs internal processes have to work.

Yep this seems like a good start to having thousands of guarenteed replacement workers prescreened and ready for any time you Delta pilots think about showing some unity.
