Next AE
Just read SD letter about the next AE. Anyone have an idea of how many A320 positions their looking to displace and what are the likely bases this occurs?
Thanks

Pinnacle took pilots with no interview according to this poster.

A one armed pilot is not going to be able to fly our MD88's. DO we allow a carve out of our seniority system for these flow throughs?
Very curious how these entitlements work.

And your assertions about what DALPA did or didn't want was not a view shared about their position in the school house. So you might want to do a bit better job communicating.
So long, ALPA boy.

You sure about that? I can tell within about 30 minutes of leaving the gate where a pilot was pre-merger.

"My assertions" got backed up by an XJT guy. And you believed the schoolhouse rumors?

Partially true the story has kind of morphed. They did have a direct flow with a few colleges that allowed for a direct flow with no interview. If I had to pull a number out my butt it would be like 15-20 that came if that. As to the one armed guy, I saw him in sim building. If I remember correctly, it was severed between the elbow and hand, and had a modified appendage like a thumb on the end. So technically not one armed. one handed more like it. But enough to make you look twice amd get the rumors floating.

What assertions got backed up?
I believe what I'm told when I'm told that "ALPA and the company agreed that given the complications surrounding the flow through agreement that it couldn't end soon enough".

But, I will resist the inclination some have to try to trade in the exchange of hiring entitlements.
