Default Droid apps for a commuter

Looking for some good apps for a droid device that will help commute planning; flight skeds, hotels, etc.

We are looking at taking a family trip to London this month. We want to take some friends on buddy passes I haven't done it before, but it looks like the fees and taxes are around $700! Is that correct?
On Travelnet it listed a "yield" fare. Is that our cost for the flight?
Thanks in advance.

Been to the UK, few times. That sounds about right. Typically round trip is about $200 in taxes and fees per person. UK is the bulk of that cost in the $140-$160 range. U.S. retry fees are only about $40 or so.

And if your traveling with children, make sure the stroller can fit in an overheard because even if you gate checkout they will send it through baggage. Just a tip.

London has a very expensive departure tax that non revs are not immune to. I think it is a couple hundred a person that is part of the reason the cost is that high. Darn just saw deadhead beat me to it.

It's more like $500 round trip from the US to Europe via buddy pass. Heck, you can barley BP in the US for under $200.

Deleting his post only served to save him from himself -- you should have let him choke on his own words for all to see.
