There were 6 or 7 that were on conditional job offers until August or September-ish in 2011. They were sent letters indicating the termination of their conditional offer but promising that they'd be the first to complete the necessary portions of the interview once hiring starts again.

Am I right about this? Once Skywest takes delivery of an MRJ90 (the way it currently looks), won't they (Skywest and Delta) lose out on their DAL connection flying?

Nope it's called Code share. That will be the next phase.

You have a rock solid understanding of our contract. Please - elaborate.

You think your contract is solid.. That's funny right there....plus these aircraft do not come until 2017. Alot can change from this time till then.

Sure, my Android had some issues. But overall, the Android system is vastly superior in so many ways. The iPhone iOS is really bad and boring. The lack of Google's mapping software (Google Maps, Local, Street View) is the iPhone5's downfall.

The reason why I voiced my opinion is what Johnso mentioned. I have found that when trying to place the cursor mid sentence or in the middle of a word, it is almost damn near impossible on my iPhone. I have to tap or press over and over and over before it selects. It is very frustrating. I have the same results on a friend's iPhone. It could be my fingers haha.

The only thing I like about the iPhone are some of the functions that Siri makes easy (say "directions to Orlando" and boom there they are). However, that Apple Maps is the biggest fail ever in smartphone apps.

If the Samsung GIII goes Global Ready on Verizon, or if the new HTC Droid DNA gets a bigger battery, I will pay the extra money to switch. I believe the only reason why the iPhone is relevant today is because of the cult following that Apple has and that love affair is slowing growing cold. Apple needs a major overhaul to their iPhone which was once game changing but IMO is below average.
KC,

Apple realized their mistakes with their new map and now have a google maps app which you can get in the istore. Problem solved and back to the way it used to be a few months ago!

As far as highlighting something goes (to insert, etc), it's not your fat fingers, you just haven't realized the proper way of doing it! Simply put your finger in the proximity of what is to be changed, and hold it there for a second or two. Then a little magnifying glass thingy will pop up and ta da, easy as warm apple pie!

I just changed over to the iphone back in June, and wouldn't consider going back. Usually when something doesn't seem right, I've found that it's usually my lack of understanding the proper mechanics for making it happen with the iphone and ipad. Hope that helps a little!

Just today learned the "5 finger closeout" and the keyboard "split" with the ipad. I've had that thing for over a year!

I do actually. And I think we have a pilot group that understands how to stand their ground with scope. Explain to me what section of our contract is so weak as to allow an affiliate to operate a "non-permitted aircraft type"?

What's gonna change?

News channel was on sometime today and the queen of the house sees the scroll at the bottom mentioning something about a contract agreement with United & Continental. So what did I hear? "42% pay increase? Why didn't I get that?"

If I read our scope correctly, Skywest will no longer be within the constraints of our scope clause ala Independence Air when they take delivery/fly the MRJ90. I think it's going to hurt them but what do I know. If it does happen, what does Delta management do, bring in a different DCI to SLC to compete with Skywest? Who knows? They have to be thinking about it after last weeks announcement..........
