Hey, if you like the video, great. I just thought it came off as an attempt to reuse the flash mob dance video we saw not all that long ago into a more choreographed version with better cameras and dancers. The post introducing it implied it was for customers who fly with us more than just occasionally. Well, I've heard from some high value customers that they don't care for the extra attention some FAs and pilots give them in the form of more talk and chit-chat when they'd rather be left alone. My guess is they'd rather not see this video come their way either. Now if you've gone through all your reruns of The Lawrence Welk show for the week and are jonesing for the dance, then this is right up your alley. Just my $0.02.

I'm sure most of the high value customer's appreciate the extra boarding time and gratitude for their business.

There will always be a few exceptions who don't like it.....

My dad, who is a retired NW guy, never nonrevs (after commuting for most of his career- completely swore off nonrevving) and is a very high priority customer of ours. He forwarded me the email thinking it was enjoyable.

Didn't really answer my question. I don't really care about the video. So, one more time, do you ever have a good day? It's simple, really. You seem to be a really unhappy guy.

Did you fly gunships? Of the Air Force variety? If so, I'm amazed.

There will always be someone who thinks it's too much, but I think most enjoy the interaction. Why would our HVC's not want to be addressed & thanked for their business? I'm sure some have a day where they don't want to talk, but it's likely Delta has encouraged this extra interaction based on surveys submitted by our HVC's. And who is being forced to watch the video?

By the VA JV, I was down to just leaning my head over my left shoulder, and gently drooling.

Maybe I'm all out of upset, I don't know. Or maybe it's the Christmas spirit catching up, but while the pilots doing the dosy-do seem sort of goofy, and the notion of finding a pilot young enough, and a flight attendant slim enough, for one to carry the other seems implausible... I'm just going to pass on the indignation this time.

Happy Holidays.

When we have potential flow ups *****ing about our contract and what the current pilot group has decided and other guys upset about military guys and furloughed guys rightfully coming back to the jobs they were hired into, I'm just about "entitlemented" out. Sorry for the bastardization of what Webster would consider appropriate.

Chill the **** out. Merry Christmas bros.

I agree, and what I've been thinking for a while.

Look, I figured out a long time ago that when the good lord was passing out humor, some guys were in the bathroom and just missed it. I actually like trying to find humor in the little stuff (and it's mostly little stuff) that goes on around us most days. The "fly" button I thought was dumb but cute and also not worth the time to worry about it. Also, I try to stay away from double standards so since I tell the pilot and dog joke to passengers.........I guess I shouldn't lose any sleep over the fly button. The flash mob and Christmas video falls into the same category, cute but you won't catch me in one

The biggest thing that has bugged me about L&G for a while now, is not only how everything is a zombie apocalypse but how no one can agree on how to kill a zombie without a personal attack.........it just gets old!

I know it's the internet and all keyboard warriors are tough guys, but how about we make this the response test. Just before you hit submit, ask yourself, if you would say what ya wrote if you were standing next to the guy in a bar. The guy you are responding to is a big guy with a full mug of beer and your sure he is drunk enough to take said beer mug to the side of your head.............would you still post. If not, stay polite.

Rant mode off,
Ferd

The ALPA board used to have a "toys" thread. It was neat to see folks' projects... . What does the board think of putting up pics of what we do for fun?
