I think CVG is toast, I'm surprised it's not closed already, but where will they put that time, that's the question. I was displaced out of there in 1993, when DL sold the DC9's and gave all that flying to Com Air.

What's left there? Just MD88's and 737's?

this is for the mythical guy at 96% or 11330 on the list and the projected list off the Nov AE. it'd be boring if I did the plug. Now as to whether people are displaced or not, the guy in question is around 96% on the list or a March 2008 hire. They might not have been the ones displaced from MSP and DTW.
  • SLC A320 B and be around 101% (no longer able to hold)

  • NYC 737 B and be around 85% (down 1%)
  • NYC A320 B and be around 48% (up 5%)
  • MSP M88 B and be around 77% (up 1%)
  • MSP 320 B and be around 95% (down 2%)
  • DTW DC9 B and be around 42% (up 8%)
  • DTW 7ER B and be around 100% (plug down .4%)
  • DTW 320 B and be around 89% (down 5%)
  • CVG M88 B and be around 88% (down 3%)
  • CVG 737 B and be around 96% (up 1%)
  • ATL M88 B and be around 89% (up 1%)
  • ATL DC9 B and be around 33% (down 4%)
  • ATL 737 B and be around 99% (just as bad)

Is there an IROP forecast in ATL tomorrow? SC numbers are 50% greater for M88 FOs than what was planned for by crew scheduling for tomorrow. What's the purpose of putting that POS out if they have no intention of following it?

Add it to the list of useless items for reserves.

1) Reserve Availabilty List
2) Target Short Calls for XXX

How else would one get to 7 short calls and fly the remainder of their obligation?

Fear not, it will get better after the "next" AE. Reserve is a choice. (not even I could keep a straight face after that.)

As always, TIC

Yes. The temp is below 40 degrees & it is a weekend following a Holiday. Our load factor will be up from 99.98 to 114.7 and families tend to check bags (or are forced to gate check their 4th through 8th carry on garbage bag)

.... ( just thinking, it would be amusing if we could count lap kids Cockpit and FA jump seats to actually acomplish an over 100% load factor. Last week we had 173 "souls" on a 160 seat jet ... and a stow away dog, no kidding )

All things considered I am impressed with the way Delta has operated with this traffic density (although we are down almost 11% for the week since last year)
