I agree.. that is appalling and absolutely FCR worthy.

Speaking of- with the new gates in BWI, it appears many of the issues there have been corrected.

Yeah, we're on it. The CA called the Terminal 6 gate "manager." Why all the angst about D+0 and landing windows if all of our en route efforts come down to some guy trying to weigh the impacts of us being on time with other carriers being late? We ended up being late because the other carriers were late.

I've often wondered what would happen if we just rolled into an empty gate. What are they going to do? Fire you? "We had a medical issue with a passenger..." should take care of any discussion.

Now, get an agent and open the damn door!

The morons that run ACS never cease to amaze me.

It does take the wind out of the sails when you do everything by the book and make it happen only to be frustrated and delayed by an apparently non-common sense approach to our product.

Plus, the LAX tower guys are good. If your gate ain't open, they send you to the penalty box so you don't clog up the taxiways.

Are the following pilot domicles all still correct as listed here on the ALPC website?

ATL
CVG
DTW
LAX
MSP
NYC
SEA
SLC

Would someone please rank these domiciles in order of size?

Thanks!

We called the ramp and asked why our gate had been changed to one that was occupied from one that was currently empty. The answer: there's an inbound Alaska flight which will now get our original gate. OK, how about another gate since Frontier isn't scheduled to push for 30 minutes? No, a Great Lakes Brasilia, inbound, gets the other empty one.

So, a 737-800 packed to the gills and on time has to wait for an inbound Alaska flight and a Great Lakes Brasilia that aren't even here yet.

Glad we can be so accommodating to other airlines pax. Our Delta pax weren't so happy burning on the taxiway for 40 minutes. I'm sure marketing has an answer but it sure doesn't seem like we're doing right by OUR passengers.

Hey Buzz,

Sounds like LAX standard. Have a good weekend.

FCR? From Buzz? It might have some meaning from Buzz since he can schmooze with the girls on FNC.

But as a Captain once told me- you're an FO, nobody cares what your FCR says.

probably true.

Yes. As far as size goes this is just a guess:

ATL
DTW
NYC
MSP
SLC

The rest are probably all about the same with lots of talk about CVG being the next to get the axe.
