Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
You got unstacked!
Too many trips were left after it gave you your original trip, so the senior guys were set, the junior guys were set and there you were...
Dont ask why I know... did the same thing 2 years ago.
Gotta bid avoid those trips to force them on another schmuck who forgot to do that...
Cheers

That stinks.
I bought the Nexus 7 and so far like it a lot. I do believe that the e-ink readers (B&N Glow light or Kindle Paperwhite) are best for long term reading. The Nexus 7 is light, has Netflix, Kindle and Nook apps in addition to Google Music, Books, Magazines and TV/Movies. The 16 GB model is down to $199 and the 32 GB model is $249. Nice display (1280x800 IPS), light (.75 lbs) and there will soon be a solution for beaming to TVs (Miracast). If you already have an Android Phone you won't have to rebuy the apps - another benny.

yup if you are in the middle of the pack of lineholder you are most at risk.
The senior guys get their schedule
As PBS moves down the list building lines, trips will begin stacking around holidays.
Once a certain threshold is reached PBS will attempt to reduce the stack
If you haven't protected yourself via avoid you'll end up with extra trips.
This unstacking might be effective enough that junior guys don't end up unstacked, especially if they protected themselves via their bid.
There's a pretty good PBS Notepad 35 (11/05/2009) explaining the process.
Cheers

How do you get reserve for one single day on Dec 25 when the A330 doesn't do any 1 day trips?
Going2Baja, BiigD, and Dal73n,
Thanks the for taking the time to reply RE: paperwhite e-reader vs. Kindle Fire HD.
The majority of her usage will come from reading prior to sleep at night, (Yes, we've been together that long.) or reading while en route one of her business destinations. I think the e-reader fits the bill better than the Kindle Fire.
Fly safe,
GJ

The 330 reserve blocks are 4-99-2 for SEA and 4-99-4 for ATL and DTW. The first number is the min block of work days, the second is the max number of X days and the third is the max number of X day periods. Therefore PBS will create a minimum block of four workdays for all 330 catetories. So far so good...
My assumption is that PBS isn't programmed to consider the difference between training days and on call days when creating a block of work days. My guess based on that assumption is that you have training ending on the 24th or starting on the 26th and PBS added one reserve day to the block or training days.
Do you have training adjacent to your one day of reserve?

I'll take a stab at it. First and foremost, PBS does what it is programmed to do, even if it makes no sense.
