Slightly off topic.

Anyone own, or have any experience with the new Kindle Paperwhite E-reader, or Kindle Fire HD?

Looking to purchase a Kindle for my Fiancee as one of her Christmas presents, but stumped as to which one I should go with.

Maybe just a "gift card" in the alloted amount able to buy either of her choosing?

Appreciate the opinions, and if Buzzpat is reading this, both she and her family are staunch conservatives, so we will be ordering your books.

I hear the Fire is one heck of a machine for the price. My wife's BF is head of their Online Marketing Dept and really likes it (go figure.)

The new iPad Mini is going to be my choice for a table though. Good luck in the search!!

Baja.

Thoughts on the dental plans? Comprehensive, DeCare or Delta Pilots plan?

I haven't looked yet but I pray we have another option than Davis Vision. They took 10 weeks to make a pair of bi-focals that were correct. WTH?

With the new arrival coming soon, I went full DL pilots plan this year (no vision... not really worth it even though I'm as blind as a bat). I'll let you know.

I'm guessing he meant BFF.

Thanks for writing what I was thinking.

Reminds me of the old saying "To our wives and our girlfriends- may they never meet!"

You could have a provision to limit GS while guys are on the street. If you reduced IAs to straight pay at the same time, the company would be singing hosannahs. Now they would have carte blanche to really screw guys with zero financial penalty.

Bad idea.

(p.s. I've never flown a GS with guys on the street, and average one every four years).
Then don't ask a senior guy to forego premium pay to fly a greenslip when a junior guy gets premium pay for answering the phone. Goose = gander.

How many greenslips one flies is irrelevant to this discussion, so why don't you leave that out of it. I couldn't care less how many you fly. The point is that you are telling some pilots to forego their contractual rights and the benefits that go with them, and allowing another group to benefit from that. THAT is wrong.
