So it's not an increase in mainline aircraft but rather just holding capacity in place. Well I guess losing those 757s is inevitable so I am glad we're keeping the 9ers around.
About these HVC 757 arrangements, where would they go? And in airplanes the size of 757s do you really get much more range out of them when you replace first class with lie flats? I mean are these NYC-Europe airplanes?

I think they're taking the B757ERs they already use on the Transcons, and modding those.

Here's a question about lie flats... are passengers allowed to lie flat with another passenger?

LOS ANGELES -- Denzel Washington's character in "Flight" drinks a lot throughout the film, but his portrayal of a highly functioning alcoholic pilot isn't going down well with brewing company Anheuser-Busch or the distributor of Stolichnaya vodka.
Anheuser-Busch said Monday that it has asked Paramount Pictures Corp. to obscure or remove the Budweiser logo from the film, which at one point shows Washington's character drinking the beer while behind the wheel.

So they built a Zaxbys near me, it was about six weeks from the start of construction to the restaurant opening. You'd think that the ATL could transform some of these restaurants in less time but evidently not.
On a different subject, don't wheels work better on C-141s?

Air Force pilots are so smooth, they don't need no stink'n wheels!
