LOL (yeah I'm sure you know that one...)
LH = Lufthansa
THY = Turkish Airlines
Whys is this a big deal?
Turkish is growing at at least double the rate of Emirates...
and look where they stand...
Their low interest 777-300 killed our Istanbul yield...
And they already have more international seats than Delta in play.
With Turkish in the Lufthansa Star Alliance camp and Richard Branson seeing British Airways and OneWorld by extension as the sworn enemy, there is only SkyTeam left to join...
Obviously there's a few more plays in there involving USAirways and American...
Perhaps we can get our EASKs to 49.75% for the period from April 2013 to March 2014 to fulfill 1.P.4 Note 2...
Cheers

R1, I had this exact scenario in Oct. Count your CQ days as Reserve days of availability. In a 31 day bid period you will use the 24 days of availability column. So since the M88 ALV for Dec is 74 hours it looks like at minimum you will get 11 X days. If you're category is projecting at least 20% reserves, then you'll receive 12 X days.

LOS ANGELES -- Denzel Washington's character in "Flight" drinks a lot throughout the film, but his portrayal of a highly functioning alcoholic pilot isn't going down well with brewing company Anheuser-Busch or the distributor of Stolichnaya vodka.
Anheuser-Busch said Monday that it has asked Paramount Pictures Corp. to obscure or remove the Budweiser logo from the film, which at one point shows Washington's character drinking the beer while behind the wheel.

So a high end lie flat 757 service?
No hiring until 2014?
DC-9s sticking around to cover for the 757s exiting this year?

2. No clue on that. They seem to be sharply avoiding the subject in any official commentary. No bueno. But hey, mgmt got their quick TA to lock down costs!
3. The DC-9s are sticking around to cover for the 8 757s that are being parked at the end of this year.
About these HVC 757 arrangements, where would they go? And in airplanes the size of 757s do you really get much more range out of them when you replace first class with lie flats? I mean are these NYC-Europe airplanes?
Here's a question, if the instructors have already been trained for the 717, where do they spend the next few months? Offline or flying the 88?
So they built a Zaxbys near me, it was about six weeks from the start of construction to the restaurant opening. You'd think that the ATL could transform some of these restaurants in less time but evidently not.
On a different subject, don't wheels work better on C-141s?

At least Lumber will be easy to spot out on the line, he'll be the guy walking around with the raging morning wood well past the morning hours.
