Absolutely we can agree. That's a shady thing to do to one of your closest partners. Why not let us handle it?

Bad info, disregard.

Um, no. You will have to do that if you are getting out of a freeze for your first Captain seat:

4. A pilot who is under a category freeze and who has not previously completed training for
38 a mainline Captain position shall nevertheless be eligible to be awarded a Captain
39 position. In such event, the balance of such pilot’s existing category freeze shall be
40 added to the category freeze resulting from the Captain position award.

But You will have to show me where it states that for new or re-established categories.

That's correct. New categories are open to everyone.

I stand corrected.

Alaska is a competitor. The SEA to SLC route was a big hole in their system. They could not book passengers on the Delta flights. I suspect in the end we will all exist together on the route. I don't think Delta will drop any frequency. Alaska will generate their own set of passengers feed from the SEA end.

Has anyone seen the movie, Flight? Our hero is a cocaine addict who sleeps with his flight attendants and drinks while he is flying. He represents a porn star or prostitute better than he represents a professional pilot. Disgraceful. Oh yeah, he dumps all his fuel on the MD-80 while in an uncontrolled dive. Don't waste your time. The entire movie is garbage.

I read the reviews last night. That's basically what it said minus the fuel dumping and calling it garbage. But it does sound annoying.

But does he do it all while pushing a button labeled "Fly"?
