Thumbs up Geezerly best wishes

Thanks, Tomcat. For those considering early retirement, it's much better than I thought it would be. Hate to admit that the BK threat may have actually done me a favor back in '03. Hope all of you guys, N & S, have as lucky a run with the Widget as I did.

Glad it's working out well for you...... Just getting ready to roll over the big 50, so thoughts are turning to what I'm going to do in the future. I enjoy flying the Widget, but know there's an entire new life out there after I hang up the wings. Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective on this crazy industry.

I've spent all day enjoying TRW's in NYC and ATL. Does anyone know what the final PERP count was?

Not if they raise the retirement age again.

Heyas,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but a fair number pulled their papers.

More than 10, less than 30 is what I heard, and those weren't the final numbers.

That is still good news. 199 is not a bad number. Most have realized that there is nothing out there for them to do and they need to stay here.

I had a CA this last week tell me how no age limit would be great. He would fly till he died and that was just to fricken bad for me.
