They cut 20 SLC 320 FO's, but added 20 SEA/LAX CA's. The holes those create by guys leaving SLC for shorter commutes will allow SLC senior FO's to fill some of the old CA slots. Those departing FO's will likely mitigate the SLC MD's.

....or so it would be in an ideal world!

Regardless the west coast bases are getting an swap of 20 F/O's for 20 CA's!

Gahhh.... Well, it's about as expected. Time to figure out where I want to go on a displacement. Those 40 ATL767Bs are senior dudes.

That's also assuming the SEA upgrades will be filled by West coast guys. I ran into a guy who was a SEA 7er A who lived in PA. Said his schedules were better in SEA.

So I'm assuming there will be another AE in a few months to staff for 717 arrivals? glad to see some upgrades in there. Just curious how this might effect any possible hiring in 2013

The next bid will be in early 2013- that will include the 717s an hopefully will have some hiring.

Haha, I'd be in the top 5 on it... as opposed to the bottom 5 on its seester "north" plane category in ATL. What a strange distribution of seniority.
