You'll have to excuse my friend. He's a little slow. The town is that way.

Hey Tsquare, your UT offense is pretty decent. I'm jealous.

But there are a significant number of pilots here who are completely drunk on Widget-Aid. We've got to start using some critical thinking skills--not just swallowing the party line.

Did you read the memo in question? I'm not trying to be negative. I'm trying to analyze it like a shareholder/industry analyst (and the lawyer who wrote it) would.

So, "brah," I take it that you thought that memo said they'd be placing a widebody order in 2013? Enjoy the view with those Widget colored glasses on.

It's ironic--I guarantee the execs possess absolutely none of the "Widget Punch" sentimentality they're counting on us to believe in. That's why they enjoy huge bonuses--and why we're just tickled pink when we manage to abscond with a few crumbs from their table.

I'm curious, were you this way towards NWA also or did they hang the moon for you?

It is wise to listen up sometimes. ALthough his approach may be confrontational to some; he brings up a few valid points.

The widget is being run by NWA minded execs. They do not care for you or me. This is business.

I say everyone one of us just doesn't show up for one damn day.

Unbelievable.

With this quote, " “There's no question,” commented Harteveldt on the most disruptive labor dispute he’s seen in the industry in 23 years, “the [American] pilots are engaging in business sabotage." I'd think the APA might have a case for libel. ( Libel is the defamation of an individual's or an entity's character which is published in a written medium, such as a newspaper.)

And yes, it was a permanent ban that was dropped on him.
It is ironic that he was banned, but yet IB has no problems with some of the advertisements that show up.
