So who else drove up to northern GA to buy apples? I think I almost ran over a honey badger on the road as well. I need a life.
Meh. At UT we usually line up 12, but only on critical plays like the final play that would have you beat LSU... or we have a kicker that can hit the biggest Alabama lineman right square in the chest.. Naaaah, at least they don't penalize you for being under...
Now the question to you and Timbo is this: who will get their first SEC win... UT or the Barn? Or will we both push at zero? Too bad college football isn't like playing hearts, we could go low and still win.

Quick Question
I saw on the ATL DC9 trip assignments today (10/21)that they have assigned 3 trips to reserve guys already for the 23rd Tuesday. I thought those trips had to go into open time first so line guys had a chance to pick them up. I have not seen this before them assigning trips to reserve guys 2 days out. Can someone help/explain this to me if it is legal?
Take care

I was out racing the catamaran all day yesterday; http://wp.buzzellimr.com/?page_id=826
so I only caught the FS/MIA game last night, my wife's a Nole, but she was sure they'd find a way to lose it. I just got home from racing again today, I'm watching my Patsies try to lose to the Jets, just like they did last week to Seattle!
Damn that Hockey lockout!
Wow, this place has sure got quiet after that dust up over the LCA notes. Notes that I might add, have always been passed to the line pilots, who as far as I know, are sharing it with whomever they please. And it's not like the notes contained any state secrets.. come on. We MAY order some planes, we MAY do this or that, etc.
Anyhoo-- Just wanted to say that the memo from Contract Admin regarding the 330 rest arbitration decision was missing one crucial statement of fact. So crucial, that it probably was the foundation of the company's arguments. We'll see if it gets published, but, DALPA has been more than accommodating on the 7ER rest seat debacle, and I mean debacle for many, many years. That seat was never suitable for rest, and the complaints to mgmt and the union were met with deaf ears. Now we have sidewall lights blasting into the (new) 'rest' seat when the FAR clearly states that the curtain will block out light... and DALPA is 'workin on it' Well, I feel so much better now.
The CROT's inability to deal with the substandard 7ER rest seat handed the company just what they needed to do the same to the A330. This is the sort of thing that DALPA used to consider 'leverage'. You know... we'll sign this TA, but we want a bunk, not a seat. Instead it went to the arbitrator, knowing full well the die had already been cast. To me, that's just a very public failure.

I'd guess UT, AU doesn't seem to have a QB, or a clue.

That sounds awesome! I've been trying to talk one of my DAL buddies to fly down with me from ATL to Browns Seaplane base to get the seaplane rating. Might as well make a little longer getaway and do a little sailing! I really want another sailboat. I live 15 mins from Lake Lanier and it is killing me that I don't have one!

I bought a used sea snark a couple years ago for $400. Fun for cruising around our small lake. Kiddo loves it.
Fly up to Seattle for your float rating. There you can take off from Lake Washington and head out over the Puget Sound and island hop. No alligators, just good fishing off the float. Just remember to push your plane further out when the tide is going out. Don't ask how I know this.
