As for the last 7 years "working only Delta flights" won't get you a thing.
Being employed by a DCI carrier does get you extra points in the Airline Apps Delta Addendum, so make sure to fill that section out...

I didn't mean any disrespect by saying "working Delta flights." I guess my real guestion should be which is better, 2500 hours total time with 1000 hours PIC for United; or 7000 hours SIC for "wholly owned Delta connection carriers." I'm sure the PIC will be better for now, but what about 5 years from now? Does the PIC time really carry that much weight?

The 1000TPIC is worth much more than 7000 SIC. Best of luck.

I think the 757's they are talking about 198 seats are the -300's, which today hold about 224. When we filled our DL South -200's with nothing but coach seats at Song, they had 199 seats.

And KAL thinks we shouldn't fly the Pacific?

Hahaha!

Now that's funny!

Oh, and I already gave up my $1.4 Million DB pension, so he must be talking to someone else!

The most I got out of that whole thing was....

"Wear your damn HATS!"

There, that'll fix everything!

Will it really matter?! Or should I have picked a regional based on upgrade time alone?

Basically, my question comes down to PIC time, or brand loyalty? I'm guessing PIC.
1. Become a check airman at your current airline.
2. Start work and hopefully complete a Masters degree program.

Those are the two best things you can do for a leg up.

So you're rocking it out Livonia-style huh? Or was this the new 737 two-stop service to Seoul?

livin, i actually agree wholeheartedly. we've got a great team running the company. they beat the system, the competition, conventional wisdom, and us .
