That, and did anybody see an American flag anywhere?
Quote from Baumgartner after the jump - "When I was standing there on top of the world, you become so humble, you do not think about of breaking records anymore, you do not think of about gaining scientific date. The only thing you want is to come back alive," he said after the jump.

Glad to see he's human.

Red Bull and Felix are Austrian! I'm pro USA, but why should they have an American flag on the capsule?
As for enjoying the view, he had 2+ hrs to enjoy the view...albeit from inside the capsule. I think most humans that are staring possible death from 128,000' will just get it over with....

Yeah I didn't realize that they weren't American.. my bad.

However... when Apollo 8 went around the moon, when they saw earthrise for the first time, they stopped everything and looked at home...

I'm not minimizing the accomplishment at all.. I just thought it interesting that he is in a position that no other human will be in for a long long time.. and he didn't stop to smell the roses. The romantic in me would have.

What does this mean? Does having abnormally large testicles make one more brave? Or studly? Why is that? I have never really understood this phrase as being anything more than a little disgusting to use in mixed company.

No. It does happen sometimes. I was 88B in Atl and my first trip was a deadhead to NY to cover a rotation.
