That's me trying to remember, was it 396 + or - 8, or 400 + or -10; 113 + or -3, or 400 + or - 4 ... ?
Ah heck, the light's the right color.
Who said you could not test both autopilots at the same time?
Isn't a FCF a Functional Check Flight? If so, how?
I mean, do you take one out of three and figure, ah heck, well, the light's the right color?

"Don't worry Bar, you'll get yours soon enough. A lot of us had to wait a long time to upgrade, and I'm happy to use ALPA numbers to support my points, but that ALPA seniority calculator that shows you'll be an FO for 22 years I'll easily dismiss with bland assurances.
And when I say "yours", I'm talking about this... right here..."

It was a joke, please no one take it seriously. I've got plenty enough 121 PIC and am happy to let the Boss deal with dispatch, maintenance, flight attendants, and passenger issues while I get ATIS and think pilot thoughts..

Ain't no hate like Bar hatin' on the mad dog. As he sits with plenty of padding in a category that is going to be growing like a weed in the next bids with no chance of displacement.
Now that I've had nearly a year on the Maddog, there are some things I like:
MD-90
- Reversers - they're awesome, sometimes I don't have to touch the brakes
- Brakes - much more powerful
- Electric paralleling - no more power interruptions
MD-88
- They're all configured the same. MD-90's have too many varieties from too many countries. Where's the cargo fire warning panel? How do I test this transponder?
MD-88/90
- Flaps 23 - Dive Dive Dive!
- It's quieter up front compared to the Bus
I'll be on the Maddog for some time, and I don't mind.

Apply that net growth rate to DL and see how many growth jets that would take. At least we won't merge with them until they get the growth, that way the plug on AK property today will jump thousands of DL numbers.
