Does the "9" still have the stall warning claxon of about 100 dbs, when it went off you almost wanted crash the bird just to make it stop.
sure. if you say so.
76 seaters will certainly grow. skyteam members will grow.
Our mainline fleet and block hours may increase in the distant future, but if DALPA continues to bail out management by convincing the sheep to pi$$ away work rules and QOL, our seniority list sure won't grow.

The nice thing is for them, they aren't parking 757s as they bring on those 73s. I wish we could do that.

Here's what RA said Monday: "This kind of international growth is possible only because of our partnership with Alaska..."
Really? So there is no way we could order a bunch of 737s, hire pilots to fly them, and actually compete with Alaska in Seattle?

For a fact, this airline has been getting smaller and the pilot group is as well. Sure the economy is the driving force here, but the ALV increases certainly don't do anything to help our stagnation.
You guys might not of liked his delivery, but most of his post was pretty accurate.
I think you guys are being a little hard on the Drank. It is more than likely that the 76 seat RJ's will grow, I suspect that the DCI deck is still being re-shuffled. Seems like once a month we announce a new codeshare or joint venture with a company that has huge widebody orders on the books. Every quarter it seems Delta does announce additional capacity cuts. Everyone hopes that this airline grows, it's just been so long that many of us will believe it when we see it.

Alaska not long ago recalled the last of their furloughed pilots. AF is shrinking and planning to spin off a large chunk of their operation to a low cost airline. US major airline are not growing a bit. SWA has no fleet expansion plans for the next 5 years and they have a balance sheet that makes the rest of us look like skid row bums.
