76drvr, I think it's easy to choose how to vote. If a candidate's focus is on the MEC Policy Manual, it won't be on pay, working conditions, and benefits.

Continue to throw that hammer. The ideology of our union needs to change otherwise we are all screwed until the last day.

Can you describe the last day at Delta that you got pooped on please? I haven't been pooped on in years.

Are you saying that following policy and improving pay, benefits and working conditions are mutually exclusive?

Don't mind me, just lurking in this thread. Wonder if the following ties in with the SEA announcement Monday (received from another site):

DELTA from 01JUN13 plans to boost capacity on Seattle – Tokyo Narita service, where it’ll operate Boeing 747-400 aircraft, instead of Airbus A330-300. NRT departure with 747 service begins from 02JUN13.

Schedule:

DL155 SEA1515 – 1655+1NRT 744 D
DL156 NRT1515 – 0750SEA 744 D

DALPA's rabid marketing of C2012 and rationalization of "where it went" followed by subsequent prolonged stagnation is the most recent.

You ever think the focus on the policy manual is to restore some of the lost trust from ALPA's unilateral actions?

Not a ATL pilot but if your candidates are focusing on theses items its probably so they can get the pay, scope, working conditions and benefits the pilots deem most important.

Dude. It's been 3 months, and 6ish since section 6 ramped up. Now it's some of the lowest block hour flying months and the block hour plan for next summer isn't available for our perusal yet. I don't see how that demonstrates getting pooped on. More you're frustrated because you planned your future around an unsustainable dream and the credit card debt is getting to be a burden?
