Quite a bit more in depth than the "In Command" I remember. Recommend it highly.
Sounds good, so who schedules you for it, and when?

And is it going to be mandatory? As in, they -will- put it on your line?

Did they put it on your line prior to bids closing, or afterwards?

So they are now calling 'economy comfort' a separate class, sounds like a marketing thing.

I've sat in those seats when deadheadding, they are the exact same coach seats that everyone behind you is sitting in, with no additional meal or drink service, same as coach. I guess if you have really long legs, you'd pay extra for that, but otherwise, I see little difference than all the other coach seats.

But then some people stand in a long line for a $5 cup of coffee too.

First, a great experience and chance to have a 2-way exchange of information with senior management. I learned a lot more about our company, especially about the many departments other than flt ops.

Second, from the horses mouth... if the 9's stay, we hire next year... if not, 2014. Also, unfortunately for me, coinciding with the arrival of the 100 900's over the next 3 yrs, is the departure of btw 60 - 70 757's.

Just two questions; when will the decision on the -9's occur and when in 2013 will the hiring commence? I would expect in Q1 or Q2 to fill the 717 arrivals then correct?

I responded to a company e-mail 2 months ago. They told us at the conference there's a deltanet link, or else try the CPSC.

Yes, it is on your line prior to pbs... so after it's on your line, it's mandatory.

Decision early 2013. If keeping 9, hiring mid 2013 or later.

Thx Herman.

Left Coast flying is working out great... love the long Asia's. Basically been commuting about once/mo.

Selling the house in Newnan.... not so much. Will be giving up and bidding back to the ATL, if I can't find a buyer by this time next year.

One more thing... Most likely first group of 717's going to DTW, to replace 50ish rj50's.

It's the NASA C-9 not a -88 ;-), I saw it with the shuttle at Ellington Field when it stopped here in town a couple days ago.
