We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Queens. We took in a Mets game and rode the train to Manhattan. I think we got a hot dog on the corner. I'm just an F/O.

NWA called their contract the CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Should we go all postal about trips/rotations/pairings, blocks/lines and preferences/cards?

That sounds great too. I'm compiling a nice list. Thanks.

That is where they were going to 'make money' with the change.

Needless to say, that was later shown to be an incorrect application of tax law and they were not able to "recycle" the depreciation, but they already signed the contracts for the conversions so they went ahead and did them anyway.

Now they are looking at parking the oldest DC-10's as they start to take delivery of the new 767-300F's. D'oh!
Ouch.

for comparison sake, have you considered using first class in your 70 seat category as well? -> CR7 (65 seats) + EMB 170 (69 seats)

just as an idea, maybe swap the two columns in the 50 seat category (so its consistently Embraer/Bombardier?)

/edit
also, what are your block speeds based on? particular route? just surprised about the difference between the CR7 and E170 (was always under the impression the E170 was slower)
Aw, good point. I'll change it when I get a chance.

I still never call it a rotation. I try to match what most other airlines say, trips.

Still would like an answer on why not to allow the pilots to vote in the MEC Chair?

FtB,

Things like By Laws. Changing them starts with a resolution at the LEC level. Of course you actually have to show up at a LEC meeting to present one

I'd love to see the unionoids screw themselves into the ceiling at the thought of changing that.

"We've always done it that way! CHANGE IS WRONG!"

Just look at slowplay's reaction as an example. No reason why it won't work, just a devout no.

If that is not a supposed of an outcome, I do not know what is

Many I know would at least be open to the debate. Has to start with a resolution.

IMO recall ability must remain with the MEC or BOD at the Narional level. There has to be a damper in the system just the the is government has.

Is the E190 the longer range jet?
