As I recall, Tom Wychor was against the Comair pilots when they wished to be merged with Delta.

So you are saying "he get's it"?

Well...I guess they could put an A330 category into JFK, but it seems they are already stretched pretty thin, with SEA, DTW, ATL.

I had the rotation construction guys on board going ATL-NRT back in June, they were doing a crew room briefing, answering questions about stuff. One of the questions was, "Why so much deadheadding??"

Their answer was, "Network uses the A330, 767-400, and 767ER interchangably, and will swap them on/off the same routes, depending on demand, on different days of the week, so expect the DH's to continue."

Since JFK already has the 767ER and -400, I could see them also using the A330 there, but it looks like they are covering that flying, just using the ALT and DTW guys to fly it as a 6 day "W" type trip, with no DH's.
