FWIW, my virus defense program shows tracking information. According to it, APC affiliates with Comscore Beacon and Google Analytics. When I block the tracking info, I get no ads. Although I've no problem supporting APC through purchases, if something I need is advertised.

Facebook is the most annoying tracking abuser out there IMHO.

Anyone have the logic behind limiting WHO can apply for RRL? What would be the harm if a plug wanted a reduced line but can't request it?

Baja.

I apologize to fellow APC'ers if my Dead Zoner picture offended. In the sprint of reconciliation I offer

I think it was intended as a nod to the fNWA "blockholder without a block" system, where a guy that should/would/could normally hold a line, didn't, for whatever reason - usually due to some type of pre-award conflict.

It's intended to help guys (mainly commuters) that suffer the most when they have a screwy month that might end up putting them on RSV when they otherwise would be REG. It was not intended to give the plug* the ability to roll the dice on open time and avoid RSV.

Just my take on it.

*I've been the plug in several categories in my time here, so I get where you're coming from. Unfortunately, somebody has to be the plug.
