Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
BTW, Carter cancelling the Bone taught me my first lesson in political parties.
But that'd be neat to meet Buzz Aldrin.
Or Newk. Or Buzzpat. Or BuckingBar. Or Boomer. Or Timbo. Or 80ktsclevage. Or ACL. Or... this might go on a long long while.
And I'd like to see a Navy B-1.

Since he wrote "Apolo" instead of Apollo, I thought he was referring to Dancing With the Stars.
My favorite Armstrong moment was Gemini 8 when after docking they realized their capsule was out of control and running low (<30%) on fuel. Armstrong manually flew the thing out of orbit and put it in the thing in the alternate ocean.

Ben Rich, in his book about running Skunkworks for Lockheed said after Jimmy Carter was briefed in on stealth he realized the B-1 was already obsolete. Reagan made Carter look soft for cancelling the B-1. However the real difference was that Carter had a Top Secret clearance and Reagan did not. Carter could not talk about the future he knew was coming.

And in 1981, when Reagan fired all the ATC guys, and then when Bush 1 looked the other way, while his best buddy and campaign contributer, Frank Lorenzo, took Continental and Eastern apart, taught me mine...
Fking Politicians. I hate them all, especially the ones who never served.
The best bumper sticker I've seen said,
Don't Re Elect ANYONE!

Yeah, they served so well in the Coast Guard, and then in the Civil Air Patrol. Their combat record is only matched by the S3.

Hey, my spelling's bad, but my typing's Worse! Especially ater midnight, after a full day of hurricane prep, and after a few Rummies!
You want to hear something really funny? My Mom was a high school English Teacher!
I drove her to an early retirement! I was always a 'numbers' guy. BUT...when I was 8, she got her Private Pilot License, and she owned a Beech Muskateer with 3 other AF guys! I got to fly it a little from the right seat, when I was 9.
