One could make the argument that over the life of the contract with all other things being equal, staffing will be down. Again, after all the Delta pilots have given, why give up items that require fewer pilots?

Any connection between this post and most of the posts that follow it? This thread is depressing! I hope you guys have resumes on file at better airlines.

Call me weird (or any of the things that yes voters were recently called), but I like my job. Looking around the industry, I can find other airlines that have some things better than us, but I can't see one that is an overall better place to be.

It's starting to look like the DALPA board here...

Jungle,

It is real simple, go fly for another airline! You think it sucks, thats fine, go fly for another airline. You feel Delta pilots owe you something and should have been looking out for your interests? Go fly for another airline. Step back and read how your posts are coming across. Maybe it is not your intent, then maybe it is..... Just dont apply here and you wont have to worry about how bad we screwed ourselves.

Uh yeah. Ya think if Europe were not in the tank and we were not gong to seasonal service to places like Rome, that we would not be seeing movement upwards?

We have underemployed in this country of better than 15 percent and places in Europe at 25 percent... Maybe it is just me, but this doesn't look like the sort of market where you would see large asm growth.

Now, if we were growing asm's and we were still stagnent, then maybe you could point to something else. (like the contract)

He's one of the "entitlements" at Compass, and fairly senior at 5 years there. He'll be bringing that attitude to one of the first training classes when we do hire.

And you wonder why management doesn't like flows...

Say what you will about entitlement, but he did have some of the most well thought out posts about the TA, and always cited specifics about it.
