resizing ....
One of those Globals had been delivered 6 weeks before--less than 100 hours. Innotech had bid on the repair, insurers were arguing about totaling it.

My description was lacking, sorry! I most definitely did not go down the jetbridge in either station. That would have certainly made me tool of the day. I left the bag at the jetbridge with the strollers strollers and other bags to be checked.
The captain was standing there making small talk with a ramper when I ran into him as we were deplaning. Made sure I wasn't interrupting anything important. The FO was still in the cockpit- they had a long connection in ATL for their next flight.

Thanks for the update...sounds like the captain was the tool you made him out to be!
Flowup Question/Comments
Compass has a mandatory flow up of 20/class up to something like 100-150/year(?). Mesaba still has 9/class for around 100 total flowups(?).
Classes in '07/'08 were about 30/class with one class being 50 (heard it was challanging due to classroom space).
So if the rumors are true and we hire this spring, that leaves about 1 off the street or any random recallies that decide to come back for about the first 4-5 months of hiring.
At least Section 1.D.11 is covered by this flow agreement.
That bites for all the mil guys (AF specificically) that are just now finishing up their 10 year commitments....
This is not bait, I was just unaware of the extent to which the flow reaches and I bet there are a lot of anxious mil guys who were not either.

Mesaba is 9 per month. I don't see any particular other restrictions. There is a number limit of how many will be offered flow-up, it's probably 100 or so like you said. But that's 12 months worth of hires from XJ.
Good point though - if the classes aren't bigger than 29 or not run more often than once a month, there won't be outside hires for a while.
